PASADENA — An armed man robbed a Lake Avenue shoe store late Saturday, police said.
The crime was reported just before 7 p.m. at a shoe store in the 1200 block of N. Lake Avenue, just south of Washington Boulevard, Pasadena police Lt. Cheryl Moody said.
The robber entered the store, brandished a handgun and demanded cash, she said. The female clerk complied, and the robber fled with about $100.
He was described as a white or Latino man, about 6 feet tall, of thin build and wearing dark clothing, police said.
