Man wounded in Norwalk shooting

NORWALK — Deputies responding to a call of shots fired in a neighborhood found a wounded man Wednesday night.
Sheriff’s Lt. Frank Rivera said the shooting was reported around 11:20 p.m. in the 14300 block of Falco Avenue.
Deputies responding to a report of a gunshot victim found the man, 30, suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper torso, Lt. Bill Evans said.
He was taken to a hospital where he was listed in stable condition after undergoing surgery, he added.
The circumstances of the shooting were not immediately clear.
The suspect or suspects fled in a white vehicle, officials said, however no further description was available.
