UPDATE: The missing person was found safe in nearby Sierra Madre and has been reunited with her family.
PASADENA — Police asked the public’s help Saturday finding a missing 70-year-old woman suffering from Alzheimer’s and other medical conditions.
Reynaldo Valencia was last seen about 9 a.m. walking near a relative’s home in the east end of the city, Pasadena police officials said in a written statement.
She suffers from Alzheimer’s, dementia and diabetes, and she is not familiar with the area, police said.
Officials described Valencia as Latina, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 125 pounds, with a light complexion, gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white knit cap, a black scarf, a tan sweat suit and a black snow jacket.
