UPDATED: Home struck by gunfire in Arcadia shooting

ARCADIA – No injuries were reported after gunshots struck a Mayflower Avenue home late Friday, penetrating a window, police said.
The shooting took place about 10:50 p.m. in the 1300 block of S. Mayflower Avenue, Arcadia police Lt. Colleen Flores said.
A 38-year-old man called police after hearing several “loud bangs” and discovering a front window of his home had shattered, Lt. Mike Castro said in a written statement.
“It appears four bullets struck a front window of the residence,” he said. “Only one of the four bullets penetrated the window.”
The three bullets that did not penetrate into the home struck the window sill, Flores said.
Though a white or silver SUV was seen driving in the area at the time of the shooting, investigators ultimately found no evidence linking it to the shooting, officials said.
