PASADENA — A man claiming to have a gun robbed a pizza delivery man of several pizzas late Friday, police said.
The crime took place just before 9:30 p.m. at Colorado Blvd. and Bonnie Avenue, just outside the zpizza store where the delivery driver was working, Pasadena police Lt. Jason Clawson said.
Police described the robber as a Latino man between 25 and 30 years old, about 6 feet tall and of heavy build. He had a square or rectangular tattoo on his right forearm, and wore a gray T-shirt and plaid shorts.
He claimed to be armed with a handgun, though the delivery man did not see a weapon, Clawson said.
The robber stole several pizzas and was last seen running west on Colorado Boulevard, he added. Police searched the area, however the robber was not found.
