Man wounded in Pasadena car-to-car shooting

PASADENA — A man was wounded late Wednesday in a car-to-car shooting, police said.
Officers responded to reports of “shots fired” about 8:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Prescott Street, near Washington Boulevard and Los Robles Avenue, Pasadena police Lt. Jason Clawson said.
The victim, a 24-year-old Pasadena man, was sitting in a parked car prior to the shooting, Clawson said.
“Another vehicle pulled up alongside him and a suspect only described as a male Hispanic fired shots at the victim’s vehicle,” the lieutenant said.
The victim was struck in the leg or legs and was taken to a hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening, Clawson said. He refused to cooperate with investigators.
The shooter’s car was described only as a Honda, he added. A motive was not clear, however the attack was being investigated as possibly gang-related.
