PASADENA — Three men suffered stab wounds and another had several teeth punched out during a fight between neighbors on Marengo Avenue early Sunday, police said.
The melee took place about 1 a.m. in the 900 block of North Marengo Avenue, Pasadena police Lt. Jason Clawson said.
It began as a dispute between neighbors who share a common driveway, he said.
“There was an ongoing dispute. It resulted in a physical altercation,” the lieutenant said. During the fight, the alleged attacker pulled an unknown sharp object.
During the fight, a 23-year-old man suffered a stab wound to his buttocks, an 18-year-old man was stabbed in the lower back, a 32-year-old man was slashed on the cheek and a 37-year old was punched repeatedly in the face, knocking out several teeth, Clawson said.
Investigators identified a 34-year-old man as a suspect in the stabbings, but withheld his name Sunday as they continued searching for him, he said.
All of the people involved in the fight were Pasadena residents, he added.
