DIAMOND BAR — A knife-wielding man robbed a woman as she arrived home just after midnight Wednesday, authorities said.
The 33-year-old woman had just pulled into her garage in the 2000 block of Silver Hawk Drive when the robber approached her, Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. John Saleeby said.
He brandished a knife as he demanded the woman’s belongings, fleeing with her purse and other items, he said. The victim was not hurt.
The robber was described as Latino, 19 to 20 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, about 180 pounds, with black hair, the lieutenant said. He wore a black short-sleeve shirt and dark checkered pants.
