Police plan checkpoint tonight in Pasadena

PASADENA – Police plan to screen drivers for sobriety and valid driver’s licenses tonight at a checkpoint, officials said.
The checkpoint will be held between 7 p.m. tonight and 3 a.m. Saturday at an undisclosed location within Pasadena, Pasadena police officials said in a written statement.
The checkpoint is part of a DUI crackdown law enforcement agencies throughout the region will be taking part through Labor Day, according tot he statement.
Funding for Friday’s checkpoint is being provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
