Montebello teen fatally struck by train identified

MONTEBELLO — Coroner’s officials on Wednesday identified the teen fatally struck by a train earlier this week as a 16-year-old Montebello resident.
Investigator McKracken from the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner said Tikkri Osario died of traumatic injuries and the death was ruled as an accident.
Montebello Police Lt. Kelly Gordon said a train conductor called police about a deceased person by the railroad tracks south of Olympic Boulevard, east of Maple Avenue at 8:21 p.m. Monday. It was a male that was struck, she added.
Gordon didn’t have details about the collision. She said the Union Pacific Railroad police is handling the investigation.
