Argument over woman leads to stabbing in Pasadena

PASADENA — An argument over a woman ended with one transient stabbing another transient Thursday night, police said.
The attack took place around 7 p.m. on Lake Avenue near the 210 Freeway.
Pasadena Police Lt. John Dewar said two transients started arguing over a woman. The subject of their dispute wasn’t at the scene.
The verbal dispute turned physical.
Dewar said one man pulled a pocket knife and stabbed the other man in the left side and arm. The assailant then fled.
The victim was taken to Huntington Hospital.
“He will be OK,” Dewar said.
Police haven’t found the suspect. He was described as a white man in his late 40s with gray hair. He wore light-colored clothing.
