Man in wheelchair robbed in West Covina

WEST COVINA — A gunman robbed a man in a wheelchair of about $300 Thursday.
The robbery in the 1100 block of West Covina Parkway was reported to West Covina Police at 1:10 p.m.
The suspect approached a man in a wheelchair and asked him if he was buying something at the store, according to Lt. Pat Cirrito. When the victim said yes, the culprit demanded money at gunpoint.
Cirrito said the suspect took about $300 from the victim then ran to a black Honda driven by a woman.
The robber was described as a Latino, 20 to 25, 5 feet 6 inches tall with tattoos on his arm. The getaway driver was only described as an Asian woman between 20 to 30 years old.
