Alleged peeper arrested outside Pasadena woman’s home

PASADENA — Police arrested a man outside a Pasadena woman’s home on suspicion of peeping late Friday, authorities said.
Juan Bernardino, a 41-year-old transient, was booked on suspicion of peeping following the 8:30 p.m. incident at Columbia Street and Columbia Place, Pasadena police Lt. Jason Clawson said. Bernardino was being held without bail due to a felony drug warrant out of Northern California, according to police and county booking records.
A 47-year-old woman called police after noticing a man peering through one of the windows of her home, Clawson said.
Police officers found Bernardino, who had a bicycle with him, hiding in some nearby bushes, the lieutenant said. He was arrested on suspicion of peeping, a misdemeanor, once the victim identified him as the man she saw at her window.
