PASADENA — Police investigated a reported shooting in Northwest Pasadena Thursday afternoon but found no victims, officials said.
A witness reported seeing a man fire a handgun at a passing car about 4 p.m. in the 100 block of West Howard Street, Pasadena police Lt. Jason Clawson said. The gunman then got into a dark-colored sedan and fled.
Officers found no people or objects that had been struck by gunfire, he said.
The shooter was described as a black man in his 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, Clawson said.
