UPDATE: Mentally disabled woman who went missing in Pasadena found in Irwindale under suspicious circumstances

A mentally disabled Monrovia woman who disappeared Saturday in Pasadena was found Sunday afternoon in Irwindale under suspicious circumstances, authorities said.
The woman reported she had been at a party in Altadena, but had no memory of what took place, leading authorities to look into whether she had been victimized while at the party, Irwindale police Sgt. Greg Gomez said.
Detectives from Los Angeles County sheriff’s Altadena Station were sent to meet the woman at a hospital to interview her, officials said.
The 21-year-old woman, who has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old child, vanished about 10 a.m. Saturday while visiting family in the 200 block of South El Molino Avenue in Pasadena, Pasadena police officials said in a written statement.
Authorities asked the public’s help in finding the woman before she turned up about 3 p.m. Sunday the area of Foothill Boulevard and Irwindale Avenue in Irwindale, officials said.
