Jackknifed big rig snarls freeway traffic in Pasadena

PASADENA — A jackknifed big rig blocked traffic on a Pasadena freeway transition road for more than two hours Thursday, but resulted in no injuries, authorities said.
The crash took place about 1 p.m. on connector road from the westbound 210 Freeway to the westbound 134 Freeway, according to California Highway Patrol logs.
Officials issued a Sig Alert for all lanes of the transition road as they summoned a heavy-duty tow truck to move the disabled big rig and cleaned up several gallons of spilled diesel fuel, CHP Officer Tony Polizzi said.
The Sig Alert was cancelled about 3:30 p.m.
