Man unhurt after car-to-car shooting in Pasadena

PASADENA >> A man escaped injury when his car was struck by fire in a shooting New Year’s Eve shooting in Pasadena, police said.
The attack took place about 7:45 p.m. in the 300 block of West Washington Boulevard, near Mentone Avenue, Pasadena police Lt. Jason Clawson said.
A 40-year-old Pasadena man was driving down the street when he noticed a blue Chevrolet El Camino following behind him, the lieutenant said.
“Two shots were fired from that vehicle to his vehicle,” Clawson said. The bullets struck the victim’s car, but not the man himself.
Clawson said the man drove to a home and called police.
A further suspect description was not available late Wednesday, nor was information regarding the motive in the shooting.
