PASADENA >> An elderly man with dementia who went missing in Pasadena Saturday afternoon turned up safe in Compton Saturday evening, police said.
Police asked the public to keep an eye out for a 87-year-old Washington Kinnebrew after he wandered away from the Eisenhower Nursing & Convalescent Hospital, 1740 N. Fair Oaks Ave., about noon, Pasadena police officials said in a written statement. He suffers from dementia and requires medication.
Kinnebrew was found safe in Compton early Saturday evening, and was en route back to Pasadena, police said.
