UPDATED: Man beaten and stabbed by suspected Mongols in Duarte

DUARTE >> Deputies are seeking half-a-dozen suspected Mongols motorcycle club members in connection with the beating and stabbing of a man outside a Duarte bar late Friday.
The victim, a 37-year-old man, was hospitalized in stable condition following the alleged attack, which took place shortly after 11:30 p.m. at the Route 66 Roadhouse & Tavern, 1846 E. Huntington Drive, Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials said.
He and two other men became involved in an argument with six other men wearing “Mongols” motorcycle club vests in front of the bar, sheriff’s Sgt. Abi Ben-Sahile said.
“(The victim) was punched. He fell to the ground. He was kicked while on the ground, and it was later determined he was stabbed,” the sergeant said.
The other two men who accompanied the victim were not attacked, Ben-Sahile said.
The suspects fled the scene in several cars, he said. No further details were available.
