Man robbed at knifepoint in Baldwin Park

BALDWIN PARK >> A man lost $100 to a robber who demanded his money at knifepoint Saturday, police said.
The crime took place about 10 a.m. as the victim was walking through a parking lot in the 12600 block of Ramona Boulevard, just east of the 605 Freeway, Baldwin Park police Sgt. Mike Hemenway said.
A robber approached him, pulled a pink folding knife and demanded his money, Hemenway said. The robber fled after the man handed over $100.
Officers searched the area but did not find the suspect, who police described as a Latino man in his early-30s, with light skin and a small goatee below his lip. He fled in a gray, primered Toyota pickup truck.
