GLENDORA >> Police arrested a male nurse at Glendora Community Hospital Thursday after a female patient accused him of inappropriately touching her, authorities said.
Geroncio Acosta Tesoro, 54, of La Verne was booked on suspicion of battery in a hospital, according to Glendora police and Los Angeles County booking records.
Police began investigating about 6 p.m. after a 22-year-old inpatient at the hospital told staff that Tesoro had touched her inappropriately, as well as made inappropriate comments, Glendora police Lt. Scott Strong said. Hospital staff, in turn, notified police.
Tesoro was released from custody with a misdemeanor citation.
