Arcadia woman suffering from schizophrenia missing for more than three weeks; last seen in Santa Ana

ARCADIA >> Police and worried family members are seeking a schizophrenic Arcadia woman who’s been missing for more than three weeks.
Huong Tuyet Vu, 40, was last seen by family at a court hearing in Santa Ana on Aug. 4, Arcadia police Sgt. Dan Crowther said in a written statement.
“Since that time she has not been seen by any of her family and her cellular phone has been disconnected,” he said. Several family members have tried to reach the woman without success.
“According to the reporting party, Ms. Vu was diagnosed with schizophrenia but does not take medication,” Crowther said.
She’s described as Vietnamese, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
