ARCADIA >> A 78-year-old Arcadia woman who vanished while out for a morning walk early Wednesday turned up safe in the afternoon, officials said.
Guo Xing was last seen about 8 a.m. in the area of Duarte Road and Holly Avenue, Arcadia police said in a written statement.
“At that time Ms. Guo was going for a walk in the area,” the statement said. “Since that time she has not been seen and family has been unable to contact her.”
Family and officials were especially worried because the missing person requires daily medication.
But the search was cancelled shortly after 5 p.m. after Xing was found unharmed and returned to her family, police said. Further details were not available.
