Montebello police seek missing, at-risk girl

MONTEBELLO >> Police asked the public’s help in finding a distraught, at-risk teenager who disappeared after school Wednesday.
Desly Flores, 16, was last seen about 2:45 p.m. as she walked away from the Community Day School, 478 Bradshawe Street, Montebello police officials said in a written statement.
Flores was described as “upset and crying,” police said.
She is diagnosed with depression and anxiety, but refuses to take her prescribed medication,” according to the police statement. “Desly is also diabetic and takes medication twice a day. Desly also has a history of self-harming behaviors and is a habitual runaway.”
She is described as Latina, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 135 pounds, with green hair and brown eyes.
