Men with baby in tow rob acquaintance at knifepoint in Diamond Bar

DIAMOND BAR >> Deputies are seeking two men who pulled a baby in a cart when they robbed an acquaintance at knifepoint in a Diamond Bar parking lot Sunday afternoon, officials said.
The crime was reported about 4:20 p.m. in a shared commercial parking lot at Diamond Bar Boulevard and Golden Springs Drive, Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. David Buckner said.
Two robbers approached the victim, a 19-year-old man, and one of them brandished a knife as he demanded the victim’s money, Buckner said.
After obtaining the victim’s money, the robbers were last seen fleeing north on Torito Lane, the lieutenant said. They pulled a baby in a cart described as pink, with a blue handle.
Officials described the robbers as two Latino men in their 20s with shaved heads. Both stood about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighed 120 to 130 pounds, and wore shorts and T-shirts.
The suspects and victims were believed to be acquainted, though it was not immediately clear to what extent, Buckner said. Investigators continued working to identify the suspects Sunday evening.
