Police, family seek missing Pasadena woman

PASADENA >> Police and worried family members are looking for a mentally and physically ill woman who went missing in Pasadena Thursday.
Elaine Dietz, 51, was last seen about 4:30 p.m. Thursday when she left the assisted living home where she lives in the 1400 block of N. Garfield Avenue, Pasadena police Lt. Mark Goodman said.
Dietz’s daughter, Sarah Dietz, said her mother suffers from schizophrenia and diabetes.
“We are concerned for her and as time goes on she will get less functional on her meds,” the worried daughter said.
Dietz is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, 225 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. She has a mole beneath the left side of her nose. She was wearing a gray sweater and gray sweat pants when last seen.
