Car struck by gunfire in Pasadena shooting

PASADENA >> An unknown shooter riddled a car with bullets but injured no one in a residential neighborhood in Pasadena late Tuesday, officials said.
Officers responded to multiple reports of “shots fired” just after 11:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Worcester Avenue, Pasadena police Lt. John Luna said.
They found a car had been struck numerous times by gunfire as it sat parked in a residential driveway, the lieutenant said. The car’s owner, a 38-year-old man, was asleep inside the home at the time of the shooting.
No suspect description was available, and the motive for the shooting was unclear, Luna said.
