PASADENA >> Police and fire department investigators are seeking an arsonist who torched a parked car in a residential neighborhood late Saturday.
The 2002 Volvo was discovered in flames just after 11 p.m. as it was parked along the street at La Tierra Street and Daisy Avenue, Pasadena Fire Department spokeswoman Lisa Derderian said.
Firefighters extinguished the fire, but the car was a total loss, she said.
Investigators determined the fire had been intentionally set, Derderian said.
No information regarding any possible suspects or motive was available as officials continued pursuing investigative leads Sunday afternoon, she said.
