Man wounded in Whittier shooting


WHITTIER >> A man suffered gunshot wounds to his arm in a shooting in a residential neighborhood in Whittier early Saturday, police said.
Officers first received a report about 9:06 a.m. of “shots fired” in the 12500 block of Beverly Boulevard, Whittier police Lt. Brian Ellis said.
“They found a male shot several times in his arm,” Ellis said. He was taken to a hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
Further details regarding the circumstances of the shooting were not available as the investigation continued Saturday, Ellis said.
