Teen wounded in Norwalk shooting


NORWALK >> A teenage boy suffered wounds late Wednesday in a shooting in a residential neighborhood in Norwalk, authorities said.
The gunfire was firs reported about 7:15 p.m. in the 12100 block of Hopland Street, Los Angeles Couny sheriff’s L. Robin Limon said.
The victim, believed to be 17 years old, suffered gunshot wounds to his back and was taken to a hospital for treatment, she said. An update on his condition was not available.
Deputies were working to sort out conflicting descriptions of the shooter and a getaway car Wednesday night, Limon said.
