Man wounded, woman sought in Norwalk shooting


Deputies are seeking a woman who shot and wounded a man along Pioneer Boulevard in Norwalk early Saturday, officials said.
The shooting
Deputies were called at 12:42 a.m. to a shooting in the 14000 block of Pioneer Boulevard, just north of Rosecrans Avenue, Los Angeles County sheriff’s Sgt. Anthony Fernandez said.
Paramedics took the victim, described only as a man, to a hospital where he underwent surgery and was listed in stable condition, officials said. He was shot in the chest.
The shooter was described as a woman, Fernandez said.
The motive in the shooting was unclear Saturday. No further details were available as the investigation continued.
