Shots fired outside Pasadena apartment complex


PASADENA >> Shots were fired outside a Pasadena apartment building Friday afternoon, but no victims were found, police said.
The shooting took place about 6 p.m. in the 100 block of East Painter Street, Pasadena police Lt. Jason Clawson said.
A black Hyundai sedan drove into the parking lot of an apartment complex, he said. Someone inside opened fire on a group of people who were on foot.
The apparent targets of the attack scattered and were not found, Clawson said. No gunshot wound victims believed linked to the shooting turned up at local hospitals.
Clawson said the Hyundai was last seen heading north from the area. No further description was available.
