Former Rosemead Mayor John Tran enters guilty plea in federal bribery scam

Former Rosemead Mayor, El Monte Union High School Board member and candidate for state Assembly John Tran entered a guilty plea in a bribery scam that targeted a developer. The feds said Tran took money in exchange for promises to get a project through City Hall. When he wasn't elected in 2009 and the project fell off the City Council's radar, it looks like the developer went to the Feds. Here's the paperwork
