PASADENA >> An 83-year-old Pasadena woman was awakened by prowlers climbing on the roof of her house and shining flashlights into the windows late Sunday, police said.
The victim was asleep shortly after 10 p.m. at her home in the 300 block of California Terrace when an unknown number of prowlers used a patio table to climb onto the roof of her home, Pasadena police Lt. Mark Goodman said.
“One of the suspects shined a flashlight into the residence, which awoke the resident,” the lieutenant said.
The prowlers ran away when the woman yelled at them, he said. Police searched the area but found no suspects.
The prowlers did not get into the woman’s home, Goodman added.
