Montebello: August 2007 Archives

Reporter Bethania Palma is reporting that the Montebello POA claims to be at an impasse in contract negotiations with the city. However, interim City Administrator Randy Narramore, himself a former police officer (actually Chief of the Huntington Park PD), says in the same story that the two sides are still talking.
I recently spoke to a member of the Montebello PD who told me things are going to get uglier before they improve. Apparently the City Council is holding together against the union on this one.
I find that interesting because it was my opinion that politicians in Montebello would have a hard time agreeing on the color of the sky on a clear day.
