Not being seeded by CIF is not really a disappointment, it’s more I’m disappointed in them for not giving the Bearcats the respect they earned. Aaron, stop pouting,

They didn’t “give” amat anything! Look at the video:
“CIF-SS assistant commissioner Rob Wigod explains how Amat got the No. 4 seed” On Robledo’s “CIF Football pairings 11/14.

I agree with Aram, I don’t think the Pacific will be the weakest league, with Muir coming on strong and the speed they have, if you combine that with Ardacia and Burroughs and Burbank, overall thie Pacific could even end up being be tougher than the Suburban or the Del Rio. I think Bonita will rise up in the playoffs, they have Cody Makenzie [spelling?] and their starting cornerback coming back for the playoffs, wondering if Casey Horine will make it back in time too, although coming from a leg injury he will most likely be a step or two slower because of not running for a few months. It would not suprise me at all if they make a run to the finals, but having to go thru La Serna and La Mirada will be quite a challenge. Those two teams are the big question marks to me, recently they have had some impressive wins over good teams, La Serna blowing out Santa Fe 38 to 0, and La Mirada rolling over Mayfair 42 to 7 will get anyones attention, especially considering Bonita just squeaked by Santa Fe, and Mayfair was able to hang close with Los Alimitos, Lakewood, and Chino Hills. This should be a great playoff season.

I watched it and the same logic applies.

  • just sayin’

Aaron – the logical part that doesn’t apply is in the Pac-5 Amat had a “close loss” (in Wigood’s word) vs Bonita’s 55-21 drubbing at the hands of West Covina. NOt how you earn respect or a seed.

Aaron are you sure you are looking at the right vidio? common! the explination that Rod Wigwood gave in respect for Amats seeding broke it down real well. I think we all respect BOHI and the season they have had ,and the same goes for the lancers great year!! BTW i am still not convinced that BOHI has the answer for WC good luck.
