Pool 1: 1. Claremont, 2. Santa Fe, 3. Perris
Pool 2: 1. Villa Park, 2. Charter Oak, 3. Northwood
Pool 3: 1. Crespi, 2. Summit, 3. LaSalle
Pool 4: 1. Culver City, 2. Etiwanda, 3. St. Francis

*Chino Hills makes tourney as wild-card team.

Aram’s take:
Whatchu say Mustangs, Whatchu Mustangs? Muir wins Pool 5 (was a tie, ‘Stangs got the ‘breaker). Who saw that coming? Charter Oak not winning its pool is a minor shock. But the Chargers qualified for Saturday’s big dance, so that’s all that matters. Claremont, as expected, cruised in its pool.

Wow imagine that, Claremont wins their pool (lol).. And I bet they are ousted before the quarter finals as well…..

Chino Hills did not look good at all today. Also haven’t seen Glendora until today but was expecting way more after Aram’s last write up. Was that St Bonnies JV team because that is not the team I expected either.

    CHS,

My write up about Glendora was more about defense than offense. Passing isn’t their thing. Or maybe the defense wasn’t as good on Friday.

Yes, it was St. Bonnies JV team. They won’t be invited back to the tourney, from what I hear, because of this. ‘

Chino Hills was without QB Andrew Chavez and two defensive starters. They will all be back on Saturday.

    Hey, Santa Fe?

I was at that tourney last week and Santa Fe wasn’t crappy! What is your team how well did they play? Oh you didn’t say? Thats fine. Blaming a teams success because of the refs is Bush League!
