I come up with 7 over any one above a break even season.

And of those 7 the only one they beat was Claremont at 7-4.

    Baldwin Park (CA) 5-6 won

    West Covina (CA) 13-1 lost

Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) 8-4 lost

    Monrovia (CA) 12-2 lost

Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) 5-5 lost

Damien (La Verne, CA)* 6-4 lost

Ayala (Chino Hills, CA)* 4-6 won

    Chino Hills (CA)* 10-3 lost

    Claremont (CA)* 7-4 won

Charter Oak (Covina, CA)* 6-5 lost

    Yes..I’m a bonehead….”THIS” year…dooohhhh…

Feel free to delete my anal-cranial inversion post…….

Colony beat 1 team with a positive rating last year. Garfield. But lost to 4-6 Ayala. 14.4 Rating to start season. Win for South Hills.

St. Monica starts off with a -14.6 rating. But they beat an 8 man team last season! Win for South Hills.

Predict a 3-7 season. Tell me why I’m wrong.

    Colt 74,

I think Colony will be better … especially if that’s where the Claremont QB transferred to.

I have no clue about St. Monica’s.

Listen man, don’t leave the glass half empty. They play two defending CIF champs in M-Town and WestCo. And not mentioned in my post is they play Los Osos, which is also an Inland Division team.

This is very rough sked. Maybe among the toughest in the area.

The huskies will be pretty good this year. Schedule looks tough. Los osos has a very big, physical offensive line. Claremont should be ok, damien will be good. I saw colony throw against diamon ranch and in san diego when I was watching my kids play at south hills, colony looks alot better than last year. They have some very good skilled players, I don’t know what they have in regards to line, but they look pretty fast. It will be a good game in week 0.

Quit talking up about those Inland teams. Your depressing me man!!

Maybe that Simko kid is all that you say he is. I don’t see him making THAT much of a difference this season…especially this late in the summer. South Hills needs to prove something to themselves right out of the gate. I think they will.

Is it a tough schedule? Hell yes it is! Mtown and West Covina will not be pretty. Just calling it like I see it.
I see South Hills winning big on the first two preseason games and on Ayala. They go 3-7. Best case scenario 4-6 and they also beat Claremont.

I’d love to be wrong and have them beat the pants off of everyone else. I just don’t see it happening.

Prove me wrong South Hills and make me eat crow in November.

How is it tough with St Monica’s on the schedule? Sorry, but I can’t expect much from a program that schedules a DXIII team.

I thought I read somewhere on here that South Hills and Covina were having a scrimmage? If so,when, where?

Monrovia went down to Orange County to play in the Buena Park Passing Extravaganza. Played Fantastic with a 5-2 record. Losing to Eventual Champion Santa Margarita by a T.D.. Then losing on the last play of the game to L.A.Dorsey High for 3rd place. By far the BEST game of the day. Hats off to the players and coaches for the excellent progress through summer. Good Luck Cats.
