Amat got just what it needed in Servite drubbing …

Here’s my column from Friday, in case you missed it.

The minute I laid eyes on Bishop Amat’s 2011 schedule, I knew things would be different.

Usually, it’s around this time of year that I have to write a column trying to temper the expectations of Amat fans – and some people in this office – so that they’re not totally off the Richter scale and out of touch with reality come mid-November.

Thank you, Servite, for doing my job for me.

What Amat got in Orange County last weekend was a reality check big enough in size to last an entire season.

Sure, a loss stings.

Sure, probably nobody in SoCal is beating Servite.

Sure, our Valley’s lone PAC-5 competitor knocking off the Friars would have been nice for everyone in the 626.

But truly, that isn’t what Amat, nor its fans, need right now.

There have been plenty of big regular season wins in recent years over SoCal’s best teams, but what Amat needs now is success in Week 11, 12 and maybe even 13. I’ll stop short of the hallowed Week 14 because that might be asking the world.

Believe it or not, losses like the one Amat incurred last week against Servite make that more possible.

Routing Muir does not.

This lesson was learned in spades last year. Amat played a nonleague schedule void of any games where you truly wondered about the outcome before kickoff. In layman’s terms, Amat was favored in every nonleague game last year.

The Lancers rode that wave and a weaker-than-usual Serra League to a 9-0 record. But when the two biggest games of the year came, Amat faced true adversity for the first time and wasn’t ready.

That won’t happen this year.

Amat has already had its nose broken. It doesn’t hurt as bad the second or third time it happens. This is a team that likely will be playing with a sense of its own mortality. And when that happens, teams tend to play with fear. There’s nothing better for a football team than fear.

It’s not the type of fear that means a player is scared of the guy in front of him. It’s the kind of fear that keeps you concentrating, on your toes and doing everything possible to make sure the scoreboard doesn’t start swooning against you.

No team goes into a game hoping to lose so that valuable lessons are learned. But it’s well known in football coaching lore that you learn more from a loss than you do a win.

So now it’s back to the drawing board for the Lancers. La Mirada comes calling tonight. Then Damien, Cathedral, Venice and the much-improved Serra League. With all the areas for improvement now known to coaches and the chances of a false sense of security greatly diminished, the Lancers should be a better team thanks to what happened against Servite.

It sure beats the heck out of routing Muir.

  • Really?

“Amat got just what it needed in Servite drubbing …”

    Does that include the injuries?

  • COChargerfan

I don’t subscribe to this logic because the flip side of this argument is that Servite is a WORSE team following their easy victory over Amat. Obviously they are not and, instead, to quote Coach Dennis Green they are who we thought they were.

The reality that every coach knows is that teams get better via practice and not in games…the latter are just an indication of where you stand in terms of being able to execute that which has been practiced the past week and months and, more importantly what your TALENT level is as compared to your opponent.

If your opponent is so much more talented that they steam roll your team than all you learn is exactly that…they are more talented…and the bad news in a contact sport is you are exposed to injuries.

So Aram, if you jumped into the octagon with Brock Lesner and he knocked you out in 2 seconds would that make you a better fighter in the future? Or, would it just be an azz wuppin by a more talented athlete?

Todays’ Bishop Amat Lancers are like that 50something COUGAR that hangs out at BJ’s Brewery in West Covina on a late Tuesday night.

She use to be hot…I mean really hot…until about 1996. Then she started to get in to some really bad Sh*t and she went down hill since. She went into rehab in 2009 and we thought she was gonna be hot again. But NO! She fell off the wagon and she’s back.

She back in her $9.99 Zodys polyester tiger print mini-dress, her 5 inch Shoe Teria Clear Heals, and her nasty vericose veins popping out.

She still remembers the good old days. She sighs and says “1995 was a great year. Too bad it was so long ago!”

This old broad is done. She just can’t compete with the hot 25 year olds anymore. Nobody buys her a drink and nobody sure as hell will go home with her. She just a sad old broad…

Todays’ Bishop Amat Lancers are like that 50something COUGAR!

  • Bishop Amat Is One and Done!

Bishop Amat Lancers are One N Done!

They got demolised by the Servite Black Friars and they will not be able to recover from that Severe, devastating and Humiliating LOSS.

Servite was their year. Where do they do they go from here?
    - The running backs are hurt
    - NINE doesn’t have any receivers to through to
    - 2 of the 5 fragile offensive linemen are hurt
    - The other 3 were just offensive against Servite
    - The Defense is soft and gives up the run very easily

Aram, my in depth analysis says that the Bishop Amat Lancers are done in the PAC 5 in 2011.

That said: Good Luck to Amat against LA MIRADA…!

If lose to LA MIRADA, its gonna get really ugly for you in the SGV.

Damien is gonna be at the game…!

    DAMIEN is watching you…!

    .

  • Hey…

Aram, something tells me this years Amat team wouldn’t have “routed Muir.” Btw, that La Mirada team Amat is facing tonight was routed by Muir last year.

  • Jefe

LOL I’m gonna have to agree with “Really?” on this one.

I don’t think Amat needed any injuries.

  • Darth Vadar The SGV’s Greatest Milk Man Since1995

Nonsense, milkboy, sgvsworset, etc, etc, Dude, You are pathetic…A thread about Amat comes out and your such a LOSER you can’t wait to get here on and throw some hate around. You deserve all the bad Karma that is coming to you and all the bad Karma that you have been through thus far in your miserable life. It’s probably all this misery that makes you “get off” on what you do on these blogs. I can only shake my head that you would actually take time out of your day to write the stuff that you write. Why?
COChargerfan – Agree w/u to an extent, however, not all injuries are a result of a team being bigger and more physical than the other. Some are just results of unfortunate situations, field conditions and just plain old bad luck. Concussion can also be the result of a misplaced defenders helmet too, so I can’t agree with you one hundered percent on theory of Servite taking it to Amat and thus the devastation, gloom and doom. I would say that Servite was a bigger team and they had more talent across the board. It’s their time and I don’t think there are many teams IN SO. CAL. that can beat them except for the saying “on any friday”. In that rare instance…..maybe. Point is Amat will learn from that game and try to fill holes and adjust perrsonnel to get ready for league. There is still alot of season left and the real season for Amat at least, doesn’t start until Amat and Alemany take the field.

  • Darth Vadar The SGV’s Greatest Milkman Since1995

Hey – That’s funny, because Amat routed a Muir team last year too????

  • GoBigBlue

You Amat haters are pitiful. And I’m talking to NotSince, Amat Bully and the rest of your inbred friends. Aram instead of typing in characters to submit your post make it a simple question so you can eliminate the brain dead from posting. Amat has been at the top of the Serra League the last few years, everyone from MaxPreps, LA Times and Cal Hi Sports considers Amat a top program. Yet you and your idiot clan continue to act like they don’t belong. Unfortunatley, the programs you support have lived in Amat’s shadow and that makes you angry, I get it. Spend your time making your programs better and quit wasting everybodies time with your ridiculous posts. Let me tell you why Amat supporters are so proud, the majority of our students go on to College and unfortunately this can not be said of other local public schools. Amat with it’s lower enrollment and higher educational standards still puts a competitive program on the field. Even in our worst year(2-8) our wins came against Damien and West Covina. You want to argue about who’s the best SGV team and we really don’t care we want to be the best team period. One of your idiot clan said we weren’t the best in the SGV because we lost to Servite. Let me make this simple so you can follow if I am the tallest kid in my class and I visit another school who has taller kids that doesn’t mean I stop being the tallest kid in my class, understand or does your head hurt now. Nevermind it’s useless you don’t have the brainpower to understand, so put on your safety helmet and hurry up and get outside the short bus is waiting for you.

  • FredJ

Not sure what Aram means by “temper the expectations of Amat fans or some people in this office (Robledo).” Not sure myself or any other Amat fans wrote Amat would beat Servite or win the Pac-5 title this year, but I have said, and still believe, they’re the best team in the San Gabriel Valley, which Aram hasn’t come to grips with. Aram picked a good time to write this, right after they faced the best team in the Southland. Injuries could derail this season, but on paper entering the season Amat was a top ten Pac-5 team, meaning they’re in the conversation with all the big boys. Doesn’t mean they will win it, but they’re competing again. Are they as good as the best-of-the-best, no, not after what we saw last week. Servite is on another level entirely. But can they compete in the Serra? I think they’ve showed since Hagerty took over they can, having won a co-title already, and losing a title game on the road at Alemany last year, the same Alemany that gave Servite it’s toughest playoff game, a 14-point loss in the semifinals. What other area team could do that, which is really what this is all about.

  • White Fang

Once and Done, Before you come on to the blog, you best learn how to spell. The proper spelling is throw; not through! Needless to say, you must attend a public school!

  • Dan

    GoBigBlue,
Correction, those Amat teams were 7 & 4 and 10 & 2 Pac 5 playoff teams that beat West Covina, where do you get that it was a 2 & 8 team during Amats worst years?

  • SwordFan

Amat is small, slow and soft. Stay over the hill and continue to fool yourselves into thinking you are good. Stick to SP, Damian, Cathedral and Salesian. Stay away from the big boys.!

  • http://www.insidesocal.com/sgvfootball Aram

No Fred, the point is that a few wins over Muir and Garfield and you and the rest of the Amat Nation start running around saying “Amat’s back!”

    Amat’s back when:

    – They reach the semis or beyond. (I’ve lowered that from reaching the finals).

    – There are some big-time D-1 players like Fields, Sermons, Royster, Bieniemy on the team.

    – When we’re still talking about them AFTER Week 12.

This program hasn’t even gone past the second round in HOW LONG? That’s our No. 1 team/program?

So the point is not “anybody would lose to Servite.” Big deal. The point is for people to stop thinking it’s 1995 again just because Amat smoked Muir or some other non-PAC-5 program.

Stop comparing Amat to other SGV programs. Your rebuttal is WEAK if it has anything to do with “Well, Amat would beat Charter Oak or West Covina or Monrovia.” You should know better than to judge Amat’s success using those guidelines.

If any of you are judging Amat’s success by comparing it with other local teams then we’re all goners.

The entire area is WEAK if Fred’s No. 1 team, the team/program HE says is tops in the Valley, CAN’T EVEN GET OUT OF THE FIRST ROUND!

STOP CROWNING THEM BEFORE THEY ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING IN THE POSTSEASON. AND THE LOSS TO SERVITE WILL ONLY BETTER PREPARE THIS TEAM FOR THE POSTSEASON, IF THERE IS A POSTSEASON!

  • FredJ

NO Aram, the point is when you write something like: “The entire area is WEAK if Fred’s No. 1 team, the team/program HE says is tops in the Valley, CAN’T EVEN GET OUT OF THE FIRST ROUND! STOP CROWNING THEM BEFORE THEY ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING IN THE POSTSEASON.

This is from the same guy that crowned Charter Oak Number 1 after finishing third in the Sierra, going 6-5 and getting knocked out in the first round of the Inland while Amat goes 9-2 and finishes second in the Serra. He ranks a team number one that hasn’t won a step-up game in forever while Amat in recent years beat Orange Lutheran, St. Bonaventure, Mater Dei, Loyola, Notre Dame not to mention what it did to West Covina, Loyola and Damien in recent years.

I get the Amat comparison’s to Amat history and having to win a Pac-5 title to be ALL the way back. But ranking Charter Oak number one was purely to get underneath Amat’s skin, period, and because they got whacked by Servite, Aram thinks he made his point. Hilarious.

And before you say, that was last year and this is this year, even on paper, Amat had more coming back than Charter Oak, offensively and defensively.

  • http://www.insidesocal.com/sgvfootball Aram

    Fred,

Haven’t your past THREE No. 1 teams in the area AT THE END OF THE SEASON been West Covina (2010), Charter Oak (2009) and Charter Oak (2008)? Your Player of the Year in those years were Solomon (2010), Muema (2009) and Allen (2008). Why would that be? If Amat would wax any of them head-to-head, why wasn’t Amat No. 1? Why didn’t Amat have the Player of the Year? Oh that’s right, because not even you can justify ranking a team that got bounced before anybody even had a slice of turkey and some cranberry sauce at No. 1.

I would say Charter Oak’s POSTSEASON record in years speaks for itself. But if it makes you feel better to compare Amat to Charter Oak, then go right ahead. Because obviously you run into way more problems when you compare Amat to the PAC-5.

Trust me, I will let ALL OF YOU KNOW when it’s time to excited.

Holy smokes Aram is on a tear!

Good stuff, AT. I agree 1,000,000% with your thoughts on Amat.

  • Aram on Crack

    Aram,

Your logic is really way out there!

It’s like saying Mount SAC’s team is better than the NFL Raiders because the Raiders haven’t won the Superbowl in a long time.

Do you even hear what NONSENSE is coming out of your mouth (fingers)?

    That is quite honestly STUPID.

Just because Amat or ANY other team in the PAC5 hasn’t won a championship in recent years, that doesn’t make some other team who is winning in a weak division a better team.

Is a 3-Time Defending Pop Warner Team better than Charter Oak since they lost in the 1st Round Last Year?

    By your logic….YES.

I really don’t think you’re that stupid because even a 5th grader knows better than that.

It just goes to show the bias that you have toward certain programs in the Valley.

Sad to be you my friend. Sad to be you.

  • FredJ

I’ve told Aram, at the beginning of the season, you should rank teams based on simply who are the best teams, period. Once the season begins, it’s a catch 22 which I explained to JCAZ in a question on Monday, something that should answer Aram’s comment about me not having Amat ranked No. 1 at the end of the previous three seasons.

    JCAZ.
Let me give you an example, last year Azusa was 10-0 and South Hills 3-7 at the end of the season. In my mind, South Hills would have beaten Azusa, and it wouldn’t of been close. But we ranked Azusa ahead of South Hills because we think it’s righteous to reward teams having winning seasons “in their world” as Aram likes to put it, something Steve Ramirez agrees with too. I don’t necessarily agree, but I’m a team player. I ranked West Covina number one at the end of the 2010 season because they won a championship, even though I thought Amat would have beaten them head-to-head after a 9-2 season. I have tinkered with the idea of ranking teams from 1-35 based on who I think are the best teams period, regardless of record, but people think I’m crazy. You could have teams ranked 4-6 ahead of teams 9-1? You don’t have this problem in major college football because teams are all in the same division. But imagine if you had to rank APU and USC in the same poll? That’s basically what we do with different high school divisions. There is no real system that works. But I’m listening, should I just rank teams based on 1-35 who I think is best and who would beat who, regardless of records, and let the chips and arguments fall where they may. Or should I try to find a balance between records, divisions, or as Aram says, comparing teams based on how they fair in their world. Even using Aram’s logic, I disagree with his top three all encompassing. He has Charter Oak, Amat and Monrovia 1,2,3. Based on his logic, shouldn’t Monrovia, a team with the best chance of going 14-0 and winning their division be No. 1. You have to ask him. You can make an argument for Charter Oak having a better chance in their world against the Sierra and Inland compared to Amat against the Serra and Pac-5. But what argument could you make that Charter Oak has a better chance of winning in their world compared to Monrovia, I don’t get it.

For arguments sake, here is how i would rank teams based on who I think would beat who from the top on down.
    1. Amat (1-1)
    2. Chino Hills (1-1)
    3. Charter Oak (2-0)
    4. South Hills (1-1)
    5. West Covina (1-1)
    6. Covina (1-1)
    7. Claremont (1-1)
    8. Damien (1-0)
    9. Bonita (1-1)
    10. Glendora (0-2)

  • Fan

I will leave my team affiliation out of this BUT I have to agree with Fred on this…How could you NOT. IF you read what he says and understand his point of view Aram’s NONSENSE is the type of “feel good, everybody gets a trophy” type logic that real football fans love to hate. Aram your stance doesn’t even sound logical based in “My World”. To be number ONE you should be capable and able to beat #’s 2-10,25 or 35. Good post Fred. Way to make us privy to the workings of Mad Man (Aram). Ha, Ha.

  • Outsider

Why not keep Amat out of the rankings. Fact is if they are not the number one team in the valley, then they are definitely not going to win the Pac-5. And I’m pretty sure that this is all the coaches and players care about.

  • Colt74

I have to agree with Fred’s “I would rank teams based on who I think would beat who from the top on down”.

It is the only true way to rank.

Don’t like being number 6? Schedule numbers 1-5 and beat them. Can’t do that? Then, be happy with number 6.

There are stronger divisions for a reason. Winning the Valle Vista is not the same as winning the Sierra or the Pac5.
All you can do is be the best you can be in your division and not worry about the others.

  • IloveSGVTribune

I remember in 95 when when the SGV Tribune.. (don’t know if it was Fred) had the Covina Colts 14-0 and division champs number 1 in the the valley ahead of a 13-0-1 Amat team.. Funny thing was that Amat won their division also.. and finished in the USA Today top 25 nationally.. but in the SGV they were ranked #2.. that means by the SGV Tribune standard.. the Covina Colts should also have been ranked in the 1995 USA Today top 25.. but we all know that that Amat team with Ralph Brown II running behind 300lb Brian Polak.. with an Amat team whose starters average height was 6’1″ on both sides would have killed Covina.. Nothing has changed since.. except Amat’s size.. but the ranking do cause for great reading while using the restroom.. thats why I continue to read these blogs.. they keep things interesting.. Fred and Aram keep up the controversy.. and good luck to all the SGV teams competing tonight.. no injuries.. and good sportsmanship

“You are what you are” Bill Parcells

Bishop Amat is no longer the national powerhouse that we use to be. And we have’t been that for a long long time. The main reason we’ll never be an elite team is because we have too many people like Fred Robledo who cling to the memories of who we use to be. In the meantime many other teams including Servite, Tesoro, Lakewood, LBPoly, Alemany, etc etc have continued to raise their game. They are elite. We are not!!!

I happen to agree with Aram in that our definition of “winning” and “success” has been reduced to celebrating wins like tonights’ game against La Mirada. Fred is completely wrong in his assessment and thinks that by agreeing with the Amat masses he will gain support. We don’t need a newspaper to tell us how good we were. We need a school, a coach and a team to lead us to the next level. That’s it. Look at what Servite did to us. That was such a shame. We have never been beaten like before. Look at all of the injuries. God help us win against La Mirada because we’ll be in a world of hurt if we lose!

  • Damien Is Watching!

Well, well, well, it looks like old notsince or what ever he goes by these days is finally showing his true colors. Knocking SGV teams for losing and full of glory posting it. Now jumping on the WC bandwagon. But of course praising CO’s win which is ok if he just had the nuts to say he backs them and live with it , because as soon as they lose he will put the knife in their back . You see that’s the difference between me, the old gasbag and this chump, you know where I stand which is with AMAT,but with this flake you could be next just like Bonita and others as his latest post refers to .Bottom line is he will not take a stand behind any team , even his beloved CO , which by my take is doing an excellent job of repping the SGV because he will not put himself out there in case they lose during Sierra league play or Inland playoffs. The tell tale sign is he is still firmly standing behind our loss last week to Servite as if he is an alum or follower of OC football. I mean really does it matter to us what LH did against Servite ? Will it have anything to do with this season ? No it won’t but to someone obsessed with a hate towards AMAT and me, because I seem to be the target of all his posts , it matters the whole world to him. He is so caught up in his hate he posts LH barely beat LM last week and we , well the score speaks for itself this week what we did to LM. He finishes with LH barely beat LM last week , oh excuse me La Cupcake , but AMAT happened to dominate them this week . So what is it notsincedarth1995nomaslechero either LM was strong last week or turned into doormats this week . You tell me.If you have the nads to reply as you often tell me with your bs posts.

Was La Mirada a “cupcake” when they played La Habra? Wasn’t it 21-19 with 2 minutes to go in the 4th qtr? They weren’t “cupcakes” then

Ask Amat 73…He really enjoys having it both ways!
    .
“They are who we thought they were..” Coach Dennis Green slamming the Podium….! LMAO!

By that logic, I guess that makes the bishop Amat lancers SERVITE’s CUPCAKE doesn’t it…! LMAO!

I know Im a complete ass and I will always find a way to bang on Bishop Amat. What do you expect from a space cows ass from 1995? Amat will never do anything right in my book and no matter what….I will always hate on them. I will be here all week folks but please, don’t stop me if you’ve heard my jokes before, then I wont have anything to say. I’m sorry I’m just a lonely frustrated old ass. goodnight sgv and good night Lancers I will be back tomorrow.

Good job Sheldon Price! Nice to see what was taught to you at BA! UCLA getting smacked right now..similair to last weeks BA/Servite game.

  • LNCR BKR

Wait, you were watching Bishop Amat Alum Sheldon Price, Playing Football on a Full Ride Scholarship for UCLA, on your TV from home. And you’re trying to talk smack. What a complete Duffess!

  • We’re Not Worthy

    LNCR BKR

You’re 100% right about Sheldon Price. How do you think he feels? BTW, Wisconsin just called to Congratulate the bishop amat lancers.

Wisconsin beat a “Very Spirited” NIU team by 49 – 7!

The Wisconsin coach was quoted as saying “We’re suppose to beat these types of teams! Its Nebraska, on Oct. 1st, that I worry about!

    VEGAS baby…!

  • LNCR BKR

You’re still at home, sitting on your butt, watching him play on Saturdays. Channel 7 right? Thought so.

  • NINEteen95

    LCNR BKR

You’re right I wanted to see how many points Texas would score on him, but I also wanted to see how you’re boys were doing at Mount San Antonio Community College…!

    They didn’t play much either…

    Not in 2011 either…

  • The real goal

Not only did Price play but so did Isaiah Bowens. Recovered a fumble.

LA Times HEADLINE: “UCLA (insert Bishop Amat Lancers) falls under a LONGHORN stampede, 49-20″

So let me get this straight…

When you get your a$$ handed to you by Texas (errr SERVITE) its because you’re getting an EDUCATION?

Tell me LNCR BKR, what did Price, Bowens, and NINE learn from those HUMILIATING and DEGRADING losses…?

What…? What…? Herm Edwards says “Hellough!”

    “By Bill Plaschke
    September 17, 2011, 7:50 p.m.
Rich Neuheisel (Hagerty) has ceased giving postgame pep talks to Rose Bowl fans, but after Saturday’s BLISTERING, he could have knocked one out in two words.

    “See ya!”

nineteen1995-In reading your posts in the past and including your current post, it is obvious that you have only one thing on your mind, Bishop Amat. Your sole purpose for even visiting the Blogs is to be negative and demeaning. If you can’t see the good in a youngman getting a scholarship and playing football at a Div-1 College, than there is really nothing more to say to you, YOU JUST DON’T GET IT! Good luck in your on going Bishop Amat smear campaign and I hope at some point you find peace in your world.

  • GoBigBlue

    1995;

You’re a complete joke, your posts are like listening to someone with Tourette’s on crack. You make no sense at all, let’s change your name to No Sense Since 1995. So you think bagging on Amat kids who got full ride scholarships to D1 schools serves some kind of purpose. Dude your ignorance is overwhelming kind like the way the LM coach thought Amat was overwhelming. We’ll keep putting our kids in college while you keep thinking In N Out University is higher education. Way to go Got a GED Since 1995.

  • NINEteen95

    GoBigBlue

You from La Habra? From Charter Oak? I ask cuz of your color preference…! Michigan?

My ignorance is overwhelming? But you trying to hype a D1 scholly (from a school that got their a$$ handed to them by a Big 12 school) as a way to improve your HUMILIATED SPIRIT (ergo SERVITE) and belittling the rest of the SGV isn’t?

You and LNCR BKR and VEGAS 73 and the rest of the BishopNOMAS NATION are a bunch of Arrogant and Ignorant a$$es…And I for one am here to remind you of that…I am your Conscience!

GoBigBlue you said…”We’ll keep putting our kids in college while you keep thinking In N Out University is higher education.” Let me ask you this…Does Mount San Antonio Comminity College count as higher education?

    just askin…

    .

  • Just askin’

Would that be the Back to Back State and National Champion Mt Sac Mounties?
    .
    .
Would that be the team that has players from last season now have scholarships to go to D1Universities like iowa St, UTEP, Utah St, Oregon St, Western Michican,, Kansas St, Central Washngton, Gardner Webb, and Cincinatt
    .
    .
    and probably more
    .
    .
Is that the Mt Sac you’re talking about?

  • GoBigBlue

Wow, 1995 you are a bigger idiot than I thought. I think it’s pretty obvious I am an Amat fan, but with your limited intelligence I understand how you could get so easily confused. And no I am not a Bruin fan, actually a Trojan, Class of 1985. Nonetheless I am proud of the Amat kids that get D1 offers regardless of where they are. As far as Mt. Sac, the defending National Champions, yes I consider the Amat kids who are going there to continue to play football as making good choices. You see they are motivated, they want to play and continue pursuing their education while still having the opportunity to transfer to a major university. Amat kids know how to move forward, High School doesn’t end their progress they continue to march forward. Just like our team will this year, march forward. The truth is you are insignificant, hating on Amat’s history of success. Do you really think anybody takes your posts seriously. By the way how’s that GED working out for you.

    Just asking.

  • LNCR BKR

1995-I’m an “Arrogant and Igorant a$$” because I can find good in a kid (any kid, but in this case an Amat kid) moving forward and playing college football on a scholarship??? If you’re looking for ANY type of a$$, you need look o further than your own mirror.

  • LNCR BKR

Thought I would go ahead and make corrections before you pointed out the obvious.

Why does the truth hurt so much…?

    Why? Nancy Kerrigan…Whaaiigh? Whaaiigh?

GoBigBlue – You didn’t answer my question…Does Mount San Antonio Comminity College count as higher education?

    just askin…

    That’s all

    .

  • GoBigBlue

Really 1995, Mr. GED wants to know if Mt. SAC is higher education. Well in general higher education is what follows secondary education, that is high school something you obviously missed. The answer dumb*ss is Yes. Do you need me to explain what primary education is as well, you probably missed that too.

    Just asking.

  • Big Blue

Community College would equate to a Master’s Degree for you Genius. It’s obviously higher than what you’ve obtained. Then again you have already shown yourself to be an obsessive compulsive mental case.

  • MountiesInTheHouse!

    .

    Directly from their website:
Mt. SAC’s Education Division offers a variety of adult education, personal enrichment, job training, career and professional development, and recreational programs for adults, children and seniors. Some courses are free, others are fee-based.

    Adult Basic Education
    Courses for Older Adults
    English as a Second Language
    Online Courses
    Professional Development Courses
    Youth Programs
    Arts & Enrichment
    Music & Dance
    Vehicle Safety

I can’t find similar courses in Stanford’s, UCLA, or even Cal State LA’s websites.

    Higher Education…

    .

  • Darth VADAR

    And I quote:

“There have been plenty of big regular season wins in recent years over SoCal’s best teams, but what Amat needs now is success in Week 11, 12 and maybe even 13. I’ll stop short of the hallowed Week 14 because that might be asking the world.” Hah…hah…LMAO!

“This lesson was learned in spades last year. Amat played a nonleague schedule (Aram means CUPCAKE – I said it. Not Aram) void of any games where you truly wondered about the outcome before kickoff. In layman’s terms, Amat was favored in every nonleague game last year.” What have I’ve been saying all along, Coach Hags…? Aram is right!

“The Lancers rode that wave and a weaker-than-usual Serra League to a 9-0 record. But when the two biggest games of the year came, Amat faced true adversity for the first time and wasn’t ready.”

That’s exactly what I’ve been saying…Only Aram says it much better than I do!

    VEGAS Baby…!

NonsenseNINEteen95-STOP USING MY NAME YOU EMBARASSING PILE OF COW DUNG! I don’t know you. I don’t like you! We’ve never flown together and you are a complete TOOL!

  • TAKE A CLASS DUMMY

    mountieinthehouse aka notsincenoschooling,
Maybe you need to take a class idiot. It’s called a community college for the fact that it not only serves students continuing their education after high school with college courses , but also serves the surrounding community with the classes you listed fool . Not all people are happy to be fools like you for their whole life, some want to better themselves and the many fine community colleges in our areas offer that to them .Leave it up to a jerk like you to start knocking people who go to a JC. But only a fool such as yourself would fail to see that . Hell you can’t see anything other than Amat. Get out and see what else the world has to offer other than being obsessed Amat. By the way your quest to change the thinking of the blog on Amat is failing just like you probaby did in school.

Hey NINEteen! Just like the Boz Skaggs (No not refering to your old lady), song about ANOTHER little girl, kind of like you 95! Hey same post AGAIN!

NINEteen95 is asking for help…Help me somebody! It’s game day and this problem that’s I have over the Bishop Amat Lancers, that has lasted more than four hours, needs to be addressed by a Doctor….and quick!

You are a FOOL 95! Ha, Ha, Ha….AMAT IS ENTRENCHED IN YOUR MIND!!!!!

  • GoBigBlue

1995 (aka NotSinceIDoantedMyBrainToScience). So let me get this straight you think 6′ 205lbs is a munchkin. You are truly delusional, stay on your meds and off the blogs. Amat’s O-line will be just fine unlike your dementia. We will get stronger as the season goes on while your limited mental capacity will continue to dwindle. Wipe the drool off your face and take a nap already.

My hubby has become a service provider who just opened up his own lumber lawn and metal roof sales. The farmer who is tax exempt just arrived and purchased some materials. He provided us his taxes exempt amount, but I’m new only at that and I don’t know what to do by using it. There were to pay for taxes around the lumber & metal, so if we avoid charge for this, which cuts deeply in to our profit simply because my husband (as the most recent product sales biz) is getting so little to be able to draw in consumers. This is simply not our thing, someone please support.. We are positioned in Tennessee (USA)..
