One Snoop Dogg son “in”, one Snoop Dogg son in limbo at Diamond Bar

Cordell Broadus, the freshman wide receiver son of rapper Snoop Dogg, has been given a valid residential change by the CIF-Southern Section and is cleared to play at Diamond Bar High School after transferring earlier this month from Long Beach Poly.

But no paperwork has been submitted to CIF for Corde Broadus, Cordell’s older brother, who was on the varsity roster at Long Beach Poly this season and played special teams for the Jackrabbits.

Diamond Bar would not elaborate on why no paperwork has been submitted to get Corde eligible with CIF. Meanwhile, Cordell has been practicing with the varsity team and may end up being on the roster when the Brahmas’ season resumes this week against Walnut.

Cordell would not need CIF clearance to play if he were to be on Diamond Bar’s freshman team.
