Chino Hills WR Jack Austin picks up offers from Boise St. and Utah … with more to come …

If you don’t know Chino Hills football, then you don’t know Jack!

Chino Hills standout WR Jack Austin has picked up college offers from Boise St. and Utah.

Austin, a 6-foot-3 target, is arguably the top receiver in the area and figures to get plenty more interest from college recruiters going forward.

Austin had 62 receptions for 921 yards and 11 TDs last season.

Aram’s take: You can see Austin and the Huskies this Saturday at the Ranch tourney. The Huskies play Bishop Amat in the first game of the day for both teams at 8:45 a.m. on Field 4.

Utah also gave Bobo an offer yesterday.

  • Congrats!

Boise State is a quality offer. Chino Hills looked very good yesterday. They dominated Los Osos. Chino Hills has a lot of talent at the skill positions. Much better than they were last year. Simko looked very good. He his a big kid with a strong arm. He should fit in nicely with the talent they have. It will be fun to watch Simko throw to Austin next season. This weekend’s passing tournament @ Rancho should be a good one. It will be fun to see what teams have talent wise. Rancho should be loaded.

Congrats to Austin! (Just wondering, did you post anything on Amat WR Andrews getting an offer from Hawaii?)

    Anonymous,

Do you see anything posted on Amat WR Andrews getting an offer by Hawaii?

In Austin and the M-Town kids’ case, guess who told me the news?

I can’t just guess these things. I need somebody to pick up a phone.

Now raise your hands, Amat coaches. Which one of you wanna call me any time something big happens in the program?

Don’t everybody raise their hands at once …

I would love to post it any time an Amat baller gets an offer. I would to post it any time something big happens in Amat’s program.

  • Like Chino HIlls

Does it look like CHHS is going to chuck the ball around the yard or can they run the rock a little too? Certainly look good at QB and receiver and they always have some good hogs on the O Line, but can they tote the rock?

They can still be considered young too, right?

I don’t know about you all, but I am ready for some football!

God forbid Aram do any work on his own and post anything that does not come directly across his desk

  • Chino Hills Can Run the Ball

Chino Hills returns 1st team all league RB Louis Napoles who is small but is a STUD. They also have Darren Abacherli who returns as well Last year’s freshmen group was very talented and there are a few who could see some action toting the rock. Chino Hills is a very balanced team. They will run about 50% and throw 50% depending on their opponent. They have a pretty veteran group especially on defense I think they return 7-8 starters and return all the skill position kids on offense except Qb where Simko will fit in nicely. They have 2 starters returning on the offensive line but they always reload at that spot. They should be better than they were last year that’s for sure.

  • Run the ball

Run the ball, thanks for the info! I heard the huskies looked good today at Rancho.
