Antonio “Noodles” Hull appeals hearing held Thursday … results won’t be known for 7-10 days …

Diamond Bar football player Antonio “Noodles” Hull had his appeals hearing on Thursday morning at the CIF-Southern Section in an effort to gain eligibility for the 2013 season.

Hull was ruled ineligible for most of the 2013 season after it was deemed his transfer from West Covina was athletically motivated.

Hull was represented Thursday by attorney Chris Prussak, who has argued eligibility cases before against the CIF-SS.

The appeals committee’s decision isn’t expected to be made available for 7-10 days and Hull’s family will be informed of the panel’s ruling.

I really hope he gets cleared to play. He has a very real chance at playing D1 football, and if he’s ruled ineligible, it will be much harder for him to get teams to take the risk of offering him

The Transfer world holds it’s breath today….It would be tragedy if they don’t at least give him a 30 day sit out. If he does not win today does that mean he has there are no more appeals or can this go further? I wonder how quickly Aram can get the results of the case. I hope people don’t rejoice with the “I told you so” if things don’t go his way…

      GP,

. As for the told you so people if the transfer gets shot down again there will be joy in itoldyousoville.Look for upwards of 50 hits or more on the thread with most of them being of that nature. You have been here long enough to know the blogs trend.

I know. Sometimes it can be confusing. I not a huge fan of transferring, but I think everyone should have that right. I don’t like kids to put their careers in the balance, because, the rule is not enforced, and this stuff happens.

How did this get to this point? Where did it go wrong on West Co’s end? West Covina has a HUGE hole at QB and Diamond has a stud Junior returner. Doesn’t makes sense? Noodles at QB with Best & Love in the backfield would have been deadly. Now West Covina is stuck with smallish, slow, weak-armed QB’s and more than likely Noodles sits the year out. What happened……Aram??

When you and Pops think you can play at the next level at QB…and your coach knows you can be a stud as a DB or RB.

The likelihood of Noodles playing QB at a DI school On Scholarship is about the same likelihood that I’ll come out of retirement to go to work at WalMart, and I’d rather eat dog food than work at WalMart.

        • Colt74

Dog food on sale at Walmart. Alpo 12 cans for $8.77. If you were unlucky enough to work at Walmart that is about all you could afford to eat. Add some onions and garlic and maybe serve with a 2013 Mad Dog 20/20. :)

            Colt74,
MD 20/20 defintely a blast from the past although Spanada might go a little better with that dish .

          • Colt74

At first I was going to go with Boones Farm Apple Wine but decided against it. The fruity flavor would clash with the horsemeat in the Alpo.

          • OuttaYourMindTrib

Isn’t Horse meat illegal to eat in Kalifornia? :-)

MD 20/20… I about fell out of my Barcalounger. Nice. What’s wrong with Schlitz Malt Liquor?

          • Colt74

Horemeat is only illegal to be eaten in Kalifornia by other horses. Just like feeding Chicken McNuggets to chickens.
Sclitz was ok but Budman said Bud Malt would be a better choice.

          • OuttaYourMindTrib

            Chicken McNuggets are not chicken.

I don’t think people are allowed to eat horse meat either. There was a ballot initiative a number of years back because all the bleeding hearts didn’t want the horseys being eaten. Total BS. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t eat one, but hey, sometimes that’s what people can afford, and to take that away… bad policy. Bunch of nanny’s here.

            WC Dan,
How about a super old school Country Club Malt , quickest buzz in town. The original more bang for your buck or big surprize in a small package..

          • WCDan

The ole 40 ouncers… sorry for the delayed responce 73, haven’t been on the computer for a couple of days.

Boy does it give you hangover… Don’t drink that sweet stuff!

Especially when there’s minimum wage jobs at Disneyland on the Jungle Cruise.

      • Football fan 2

So West Covina was ignoring their own interest and trying to get him to play a position that gave him a legit chance of getting recruited?? I’ll buy that.

  • Football Fan

I bet he ends up playing slot WR at DBar. Should be his best position
