I think that St. Francis sits very similarly in their league, as Amat does in theirs. Amat is good, but after seeing what Notre Dame and Alemany have done so far, it will be tough to beat those two teams knowing that Amat allows so many points on defense. In order to win either game, Amat will need to score 40 plus points, which they are totally capable of, while playing a little stronger defense. Instead of going to the Culver City game to watch my nephew from Amat, me and my buddy made the drive to Norco and saw Alemany lose its first game. Norco played them incredibly well through 3 quarters before Alemany came alive. If Amat can prevent the big passing plays, Amat will win.
St. Francis will beat ST Paul, Cathedral, and Harvard Westlake, but I don’t see them getting past Chaminade and Serra.

    • Not So Fast My Friend

Have to agree on those last two, Chaminade is a simple no and Serra is a no, no, no, no…

  • You Watch!

Good bye Glendora, it was nice knowing ya!!

    • Livingston William

6-0 and it is nice knowing them?!?!?!?!? You can wave at their rear view mirror

  • Royal Blue Thunder

Bishop Amat pretty much handed Rancho Cucamonga the win over the Lancers. They gave 17 pts in the beginning as a free gift. Down 17-0, BA stormed back to lead by two scores only to hand the game right back to RC. Norco is getting a lot of attention after “upsetting” Alemany last week. As good as Norco is and as huge as a win over the Serra’s #1 team, Norco was shut down by Rancho Cucamonga 24-7.
We know from these scores that it’s possible that Bishop Amat has the ability to compete with Alemany. And if you can compete with Alemany, you can compete with anyone else in the Serra (most of the time lol). Amat’s defense has been giving up the big play time and time again…this is a huge concern for Amat’s defense and it will definitely lose you games.
As much as anyone can analyze scores, this is the Serra and every school in the Serra has the ability to win league. Last season, Crespi did not even make the playoffs yet they were able to beat Alemany who won the Serra. Crazy stuff and I’m sure we’ll see a lot more this season.

    • Not So Fast My Friend

I’m sorry RBT, I thought Rancho Cucamonga earned that win. :-)

    • Lock-N-Load

Royal Blue Thunder…Norco is not the same team they were week one…Norco not only beat Alemany hey dominated them at the LOS. For three quarters Norcos D shut out Alemany on offense. You need to give credit to RC and stop with the excuse…you guys lost to a better team..

      • Lancerito’s Buddy

They beat us but they were clearly not the better team. Take the blinders of and realize that.

        • Aaron

That makes no sense…when you get beat you are not the better team. We really need to get over this hogwash saying.

        • Not Since 1995

          Famous last words by a PAC 5 Bride’s Maid…!
On in the case of Bishop NoMAS…just a MAID…!
          Heh…Heh! Heh…Heh! Heh…heh!

          • Lancerito’s Buddy

Easy there Huskie… As MUCH as AMAT comes out of your pie hole… You must have really wanted to go there but were never enough of an athlete to go there. So keep you blabber going, as I really think it is quite funny. Not since this not since that…. Time to come up with a new song Oh faithfull Dumb A$$ one. HEHEHEHEHEHE. So as long as you keep speaking the AMAT name you will always be interested in us.

  • Not So Fast My Friend

I’m sorry, I’m still not understanding the value of Charter Oak at sixteen with a 1-4 record over several other teams. The value of the their win over Los Osos shouldn’t give them that big a boost. Certainly not over more impressive (and deserving??) teams with better records, unless you’re going off of the strength of schedule? And when does a losing strength of schedule outweigh a lesser, but winning one?

    • Excuse Me?

Really? CO just beat a Osos team that beat Norco who beat Alemany this past week. This is a solid CO who has been plagued with lots of turnovers and secondary issues. They finally figured it out this past week and will be lethal in the Sierra and potentially in the Inland. IDK if you’ve been paying attention this year but everybody in the INLAND has been far from perfect. CEE OHHHHH

      • Not So Fast My Friend

I sure have and all that info is nice, but it doesn’t answer the question.

      • Lock-N-Load

wow…Norco was without their starting Qb and two defensive starters against LO…they were suspended before game time…Norco held LO offense to 125yds for the game..Norco ran up and won the field on them…problem was turnovers inside the red zone…hell CO lost to a Roosevelt team who will not make the playoffs..CO will make the playoffs, but by no means will they EVER be relevant/lethal in the Inland…thanks for the laugh..

        • Lancerito’s Buddy

LNL or LOL… Before you use all your excuses save some for when you get rolled by VM or CC.

      • OuttaYourMindTrib

        “potentially lethal in the Inland”
Look son, that’s just ridiculous. I cannot believe C-No put that out there. Just because the Inland is down a bit this year, but their “down” years PUNISH fools in the SGV. So just sit back and enjoy 2nd place in the Sierra. Oh, and C-No will be one and done faster than Chino Hills. Remember Upland 2 years ago???

        ROFLMAO

        • Lancerito’s Buddy

Finally someone who understands the game… LMAO!

          • Not Since 1995

Somebody who understands that Bishop NoMAS will get their A$$e$ handed to them by a very average Notre Dame team this week!.
            Not in 2013…dumb A$$…!

    • Lancerito’s Buddy

It is the coach not the team. There is a lot of respect for Farrar, but as th saying goes what have you done for me lately… Well they will lose again this week.

      • Not So Fast My Friend

I’m glad you said that because that was a head scratcher.

      • AMAT 73

        LB,
You seriously think CO will lose to Damien ????

  • Titan Football Fan

San Marino glad to be on the list at all. Too easy pre-league schedule proved little, if anything. Titan players continue to work hard. They’re ready for the upcoming Rio Hondo League grudge matches. The players are looking to make a statement against SP, LC and TC. Coach Hobbie keeps it all running smoothly. Among the best coaches in all of So Cal HS football! When the Wildcats come to San Marino, the home stands will be loud and large. Titans and thier fans can’t wait for Monrovia and the playoffs! Good luck to all teams in their league play.

    • Lancerito’s Buddy

Excuse me, but we are talking real football here!!! SP, LC, and TC??? When did this become the Pop Warner discussion?

      • Titan Football Fan

“Pop Warner programs teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that young people will use throughout their lives.” “To instill life-long values of teamwork, dedication and a superior work ethic in the classroom and on the playing field.” Obviously not Pop Warner football when you’re involved. Stay classy, Buddy.

        • Lancerito’s Buddy

Son, oh sonny… Wake up it’s time to go to school SON!

      • SGV_FOOTBALL

LB, I have a feeling this comment is going to bite you in the A$$ come Friday night.

        • Lancerito’s Buddy

Hey CO Buddy… You still are having hard feelings over getting your A$$’s kicked over the last two years??? Lucky CO though… You dont have to tango with the far superior team anymore…

          • Not Since 1995

            Hey Fred Robledo:

If you ever wonder why I hate the Bishop NoMAS Lanceritos…SO MUCH?

Here is exhibit A….Putito’s Buddy over here…!

This is why I hate this Far Superior Team…And why I love to see them FAIL every year for the last 18 years and for the next 50 years…!

            Not In 2013 Either…

          • Lancerito’s Buddy

HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE…..LOL!!!! Its Charlie Browns teacher again… WHAH WHAh WHAH WHAH….

      • Not Since 1995

18 Years and NO CIF Championship…!
How about keeping your ARROGANT pie hole shut until you ACTUALLY WIN something…Bumb A$$…!

Oh…that’s right…The End Is Near for the Bishop NoMAS Lanceritos…! The Serra League is coming…! Can you say 5 – 5 season?

At best…all the lanceritos can hope for is a “Coin-Flip”…Pendejo…!

You and your Jack-Ass Knifers will be enjoying Thanksgiving Menudo without a ball game…Again….!

        Not In 2013 Either….

  • Lock-N-Load

Royal Blue Thunder…Norco is not the same team they were week one…Norco only only beat Alemany hey dominated them at the LOS..You need to give credit to RC and stop with the excuse.
