Noodles to play at Diamond Bar this season …

noo

The first one to arrive at photo day at the Tribune yesterday was none other than Antonio “Noodles” Hull, who informed me has indeed playing for Diamond Bar this season (despite no physical still).

Noodles told me he’s going to surprise even me by how good he will be this season and that he’s looking forward to putting together a year so good that the college offers will roll in. He is behind in the recruiting process a bit due to missing all but one game of his junior due to being ruled ineligible by CIF for an athletically motivated transfer from West Covina.

Noodles said he attended some camps and that Arizona and Arizon St. expressed interest and one or both are close to offering. So that’s great news. Noodles will likely be a corner back in college and said that’s what he’ll play this fall for the Brahmas.

As for Kanya Bell, the jury is still out. He is attending summer school at Diamond Bar and may end up being part of the Brahmas squad after all once he’s recovered from a knee injury. Another one of the talented players who left D-Bar also might be trying to come back, but he’ll remain nameless.

Aram’s Take: Very happy I get a chance to cover Noodles’ senior season. Hoping he shows everyone just how big-time of a talent he is this fall.
