Less than a week after former varsity football head coach Ramsey Lambert left La Canada to take over at Santa Monica, the Spartans named Ryan Zerbel its new head coach.

Here’s the kicker: Zerbel was La Canada’s principal this past school year. Zerbel’s past head coach experience came at Workman in the early 2000s.
