Elijah Blades who earlier this month confirmed he left Muir for Cathedral is now staying put, the junior defensive back said late Tuesday.

Blades is thought to be the next big-time Mustangs prospect and will likely assume the role of shutdown corner for Muir after the graduation of Taeon Mason. Things aren’t all great for Muir. Receiver Jamire Calvin, who also left for Cathedral, will remain at Cathedral.
