Big Lou gave his team a very soft bracket. Calabasas should win this one easily.

    • AramT

Big Lou also gave Amat a cake bracket. And I don’t agree with you about CO’s draw. Garfield has talent. Check them out. And La Salle just finished second in its own tourney last week.

      • reality

I did check them out did you? Since 2008 when Garfield started dipping it’s toe into CIFSS football playing teams out of the LA. leagues about 2 to 4 times a year guess how many times they won? Zero. That’s right. And that is against St. Paul when they were awful and many other average teams, often getting blown out. More of the same with La Salle but they both win against the Blairs and Bells of the world. Pioneer is the toughest challenge in CO’s Bracket believe it or not. I think you fell for the Garfield, La Salle hype.

          Love it

        • AramT

What are you talking about? Did you see the team Garfield played!!!?? Alemany … Westlake … granted they got waxed in those games, but they are no slouch. They went 9-3 last year and if you saw them in last year’s CO passing tourney, they were one of the teams that passed the eyeball test. And La Salle has skill kids, I guarantee you that. I am not saying CO didn’t give itself an easy draw, but it’s nothing compared to what Amat got. Rosemead is liable to hand the ball off on first down this Saturday.

All brackets are balanced . Very well selected . Yucaipa in Amats bracket is legit . They always have athletes . Didn’t get to see Garfield last year . Only saw the elimination round games being played on main field . CO, Rancho Verde ,Amat , Upland,Loyola ,Calabassas ,Etiwanda and can’t recall the other final 8 team .

          • tanksolot

Hand off….that’s a funny one AT. Looking forward to seeing “Sunshine” under center for CO.

          • AramT

            Who is “Sunshine” ???

          • tanksolot

Brett Clemetson. He didn’t play last season, but did the season before. Moves good and has a decent arm.
I heard he was coming back.
So was Glendora not invited? Better stuff to do?

          • AramT

Ahhh, good! I’m glad he’s back. Was supposed to be a stud. No idea about G-High.

          • Valley Athletics

Is he the kid that is also a good baseball player ?

          • tanksolot

            Yup, that’s him.

          • tanksolot

He’s still playing baseball. CO in the playoffs -won yesterday.
Kam Brown’s little brother Kris was out there under center. Looking good for soph to be. That’s an athletic family!

          • Valley Athletics

Clemetson is to valuable for the baseball team to risk playing . Amat had to baseball players start today . Both are not starters in baseball.

          • reality

Expected a little push back. I do admire Garfield for going nose to nose against elite teams. To give a dig to the Bohi’s, Monrovia’s and Los Altos’s of the world a wish they would man up and schedule elite teams also. They never seem to tire on beating up lesser opposition. And I’m not speaking to playing equal competition but better, elite top 25 type competition.

SH return to glory this year

  • Semper Titanius

Oh c’mon! None of you guys even believe in “passing league.” Where are the Amat faithful? This isn’t football, and as every season demonstrates, it doesn’t even forecast which teams will showcase, let alone effectively execute a passing attack.
