"Donate your boat"

randoms 181.jpgEverytime I pass this on San Bernardino Road in the West Covina, I see this sign and it cracks me up. I always have a vision of a homeless person riding around in a donated yacht. I'm sure there's a reason why someone would donate their boat; I just wonder who gets it.

Same with when you donate a car; they sell it, and donate the proceeds to the charity of your choice (minus their cut, of course).

I think your vision of the homeless guy at the helm of a yacht is more amusing.

BTW, have you figured out the symbolism of the rooster, yet?

I'm thinking the rooster gift was less about symbolism and more about resemblance: the rooster and me have the same haircut!

You couldn't hear that, but I just bonked my head down on my keyboard. Now, I'll have to take another look at the rooster picture. Don't be annoyed when I start studying your hairstyle the nest time we meet. :D
