West Covina Fire Department's Hummer

As I was driving back to the office, I spotted a Hummer with a West Covina Fire Department logo. I wonder why the fire department needs a Hummer, I wonder how much it costs, and I wonder if it makes the most environmental and financial sense to Het a hummer compared to other vehicles.

Anyone know the answer?

Comments

If I recall correctly, a few years ago Ziad Alhassen donated the Hummer to the department. I think it was in recognition for the departments service after the eco-terrorist incident, but, don't quote me on that.

The answer is: Hummers are cool. Wait, no they're not.
