Where do you run?

Run for the Cure.jpg

Running is the only way I can cope with the demands of my editors, the mistakes I make on the job and the angry calls and confrontations I have to deal with on a daily basis.

But I'm getting a little bored of my regular outdoor run at the Sante Fe Dam in Irwindale. Any recommendations out there of safe and free parks that are good for an evening jog?

(If you can find me, this is proof that I really do run! I ran this 5K in Pasadena a few weekends ago). >>>>

The County park loop is always a choice; Huntington, Santa Anita, Campus...or there is always "Mayberry of the east valley"(according to the FCblog), here in La Verne at BHS http://thefcblog.com/2008/04/01/swearing-in-la-verne/.

Bonelli Park in San Dimas.

Jennifer...Bonelli Park is a good place, especially on the weekends. I like to run there...well actually I go there when I feel like running......then I find a nice bench, light up a smoke and wait till the feeling goes away.

Jennifer try running at Whittier Narrows, in South El Monte, also known as Legg Lake. The lakes have ducks, turtles and fish. I find it a great place to walk, rest a while and enjoy mother nature. It w
has a wonderful claming effect. Try it. You will find peace of mind.
